Making art in one form or another has been my top coping strategy in my own life. My first-hand experience working with young people, along with my academic research, has reinforced that creative expression breeds agency, identity, self-awareness, confidence, as well as community when practiced alongside others. Limits surrounding age or language can be transcended through visual forms of communication. Below are a few examples of how I work.
